We sat down with our Head of Fragrance to talk all things scented. From candle care to how the refresh of our most-loved range came to life.
What has changed about the Signature Collection?
We’ve increased the fragrance loads on many of the scents you already loved.
The whole range now has a new wax formulation, giving a cleaner burn. Plus, Active Air Mallow is in all our candles, reeds, and fragrance oils, helping deliver a better fragrance experience.

What was the inspiration behind the new fragrances?
Our customers! We wanted to deliver what people asked for: a luminous white floral (Luminous Gardenia), a vibrant rose (Ruby Rose), and something tropical and playful (Coconut Colada).
Bali Retreat was inspired by Australians’ love for Bali, with a new woody profile. We’ve also added Buttermilk Pancakes for a sweet gourmand note, and carried Sunset Symphony into Signature because it feels like a ‘Signature’ dusk fragrance.

Will there be more neutral, fresh, or woody scents?
Yes. Provencial Calm brings lavender in a more woody, naturalistic way. Bali Retreat expands into a woody category for us as well. These help round out the fresh, floral, and woody spectrum in Signature.

What’s your favourite fragrance from the new collection?
I’m really excited about Bali Retreat. It’s a beautiful woody scent, which is a newer category for us. Bali holds such special memories for so many people; think family holidays, honeymoons, proposals. Overall, I think it will really resonate with our customers.

Which fragrances are strongest for large open spaces?
Vanilla Caramel is always a rich, decadent choice. Florence and Acapulco are punchy and bright.
For larger spaces, bigger candles give stronger fragrance, while smaller candles work if you prefer a lighter touch. The different formats let you “dose” your home with the level of fragrance you want.
