Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Always burn on a heat resistant surface, away from flammable or sensitive materials.
Use a candle plate or tray.
Do not move the candle while burning.
Keep away from electrical appliances and heat sources.
Limit burn time to 3 hours.
Trim the wick to 6mm and keep the wax pool clean.
Avoid drafts and do not let the flame touch the glass.
Use a snuffer to extinguish the flame.
Stop use when 1cm of wax remains.
