At dusk, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. In the even that something has gone wrong or you are unhappy with your purchase, please read our policies below prior to contacting us.

Returns & Refund Policy

What is the dusk refund policy?

If you change your mind or received an unwanted gift, you may return your item In Store or Online. 

Our normal return period is 30 days from date of purchase. However, a benefit for dusk Rewards Members is that the return period is extended by an additional 30 days allowing dusk Rewards Members 60 days to return item(s).

Full Terms and Conditions:

  • items must be returned in new condition;
  • proof of purchase is required;
  • to qualify for the 60 day return period, you must have been a paid active dusk Rewards Member at time of the original purchase;
  • refunds need to be applied to the same payment method used for the original purchase of the item(s) being returned;
  • refunds for online orders In Store may take up to 1 business day for the payment to be processed;
  • In Store purchases cannot be returned Online;
  • Online orders can be returned and exchanged In Store;
  • Online orders cannot be exhanged via the reply paid address; and
  • Gift Cards, eGift Cards and Memberships cannot be returned or refunded.

Please also note, Customer Service will require photos of any item(s) that arrive in less than perfect condition.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality.

How long do I have to return or exchange a purchase?

How can I return an Online order?

Please contact Customer Service via email and provide the following information:

  • Online order number;
  • Full name;
  • Email Address used for the order;
  • Photos of the item(s) if they arrived in less than perfect condition;

Customer Service will usually respond within 1 business day and advise next steps.

Can I exchange an Online order?

You are welcome to exchange an Online order In Store with proof of purchase, however, Online orders returned via the Reply Paid address can only be refunded.

No. In Store purchases must be returned In Store.

Warranty Periods

What is the standard warranty period on non-electrical item(s)?

Any dusk non-electrical product that is faulty or not of acceptable quality may be entitled to an exchange or refund under the Australian or New Zealand Consumer Law.

Please Note: These consumer guarantees do not apply where the item was damaged due to abnormal use or misuse.

What is the warranty period on electrical item(s)?

All electrical items (exanple: MoodMist® Diffusers, Aromatherapy and Oil Burners) come with a 1-year warranty from date of purchase.

Any dusk electrical (MoodMist® Diffusers, Aromatherapy Diffusers and Oil Burners) product that is faulty or not of acceptable quality may be entitled to an exchange or refund under the Australian or New Zealand Consumer Law.
